—founder of Gladrags and a Sidmouth local.
I’ve always loved clothes, fabrics, and the way great style helps people feel their best. Before opening Gladrags, I ran a successful hair salon in Sidmouth for sixteen years. Helping others look and feel good has always come naturally—whether through a great haircut or a well-put-together outfit. After years of dreaming about my own boutique, I finally took the leap. I thought, “If I don’t do it now, I never will!” And so, Gladrags was born.

Alongside Jane, you’ll find Wendy and Louise—long-time friends who share a love of fashion and a passion for helping women feel fantastic in what they wear.
Wendy brings over 40 years of experience in the fashion industry, having worked with top high street names like Topshop, the Burton Group and Austin Reed. She also ran her own women’s boutique here in Sidmouth, so she knows exactly what local women are looking for.
Louise has a natural flair for fashion and a great eye for stylish, wearable looks. Always friendly and relaxed, she offers honest advice with gentle enthusiasm—never pushy, always supportive.
Together, the team creates a warm, welcoming space where you can explore new styles with confidence.
